Krubera Cave (or Voronya Cave, sometimes called the Voronya Cave) is the deepest known cave on Earth. It is located in the Arabica massif of the Gagra ridge of the Western Caucasus, in the Gagra region of Abkhazia, the unrecognized republic of Georgia. The cave remains the only known cave on Earth with a depth of over 2000 meters. The difference in height between the cave entrance and the deepest point explored is 2191 ± 20 meters (7188 ± 66 feet).
