At last the law catches up with Insulate Britain….hurrah!

One of the members of Insulate Britain has openly stated he is crying as he and others are brought before a High Court Judge for breaking the law regarding an injunction. (should have thought about the people crying for you to get out of the road, you showed them no sympathy and lets face it….we are clapping for justice at last). Funny how they are oh so brave until it finally hits home what they have done.

Oliver Roc says he is crapping himself and crying over the thought of going to jail along with 8 others who are now in contempt of court.

An emotional Mr Roc told LBC radio this morning: ‘I feel terrified – I’m c***ping myself this morning, and I feel like crying. I’ve got all these emotions coming out of me. It seems ridiculous that we’re in this situation. What we’re asking the Government to do is just an extremely practical no-brainer thing that they should be doing, and they’re choosing instead to potentially lock us up, fine us, seize our assets. I’m expecting that we might get sentenced maybe today, probably tomorrow. We’ve been told that quite probably we’ll get custodial sentences, so there’s a high likelihood that by this evening I’ll be in a prison cell somewhere.’  (Daily Mail.co.uk)

These are people who have created misery on the roads and caused a woman to suffer life changing injuries due to a stroke, his tears have hit my sympathy level of ZERO.

They have terrorised road users for weeks and it is only now they have facing justice. If I had been the Home Secretary, they would have been dragged off the road the first day and locked up.

These people have caused people to miss vital cancer treatment, miss other medical treatment, caused people to miss family funerals, causing the self employed to miss the chance of getting paid and caused untold misery on the roads.

This is a case of reaping what you sow and I hope they are give the maximum which is 2 years in jail and fines that can run into the tens of thousands. It will teach these people that you cannot hold this country to ransom and to do so means that you will pay the price.

The Judge needs to give them a harsh judgement to make sure they do not do it again, and all he has to think about is the lady who was left for 7 hours having suffered a stroke because of them, and the countless times they refused Ambulances right of way. They are responsible for the fact that this lady is now having to live with a life altering condition, and for that alone they must go to jail as their assaults on the roads caused her harm and there is a price to pay.

I am glad he is crying and getting upset and lets hope it puts the others off because now the law is catching up with them but what a pity it took this long, but better late than never and lets hope he and they enjoy prison food.
