On Saturday, the body of Sgt. Johanny Rosario Pichardo, 25, arrived at Boston’s Logan International Airport. Her mother, grandmother and three siblings were overcome with grief as the casket was loaded onto the tarmac.
No mother should have to bury their child and my heart goes out to the parents, grandparents and siblings of this fine, beautiful, upstanding marine who just wanted to make the world a better place.
We are saddened at your going as the world needs good people like this and so heartbreakingly young.
Sleep now hero your job is done and you go to join your brothers and sisters in arms and you have upheld the high standard of your corps, and never let the people down your were protecting, never let your family down, never let your friends down, never let your country down and showed the world that freedom is something worth fighting for.
Thank you…….and from this veteran to the families……..all those who have died in the name of freedom are my heroes and the world weeps with you.
