My heart aches for young Saka. He is devastated at his penalty being saved, but I watched the match and England were never expected to get to the final, as lets face it how many expected them to get that far?
They have done us proud and as a young team, they can learn from this and the horrendous racist abuse is shameful.
All I saw on the pitch was a group of England players trying their upmost, and anyone who wrote the vile racist abuse should have the weight of the law thrown at them.
We should send our support as so very few would have been in this predicament, and it gave us the lift this country needed.
We will see a lot more of Saka as he has a glittering future ahead, and to those morons who wrote racist things because you didn’t like the colour of their skin….well shame on you.
