I have always said that I cannot afford to be a socialist…….

Labour’s Shadow Cabinet charged thousands in expenses during lockdown, billing taxpayers for first-class travel, rent, TV licences – and even hand gel. Deputy leader Angela Rayner, who boasts of ‘standing up for working people’, claimed £30,952.98 including £1,600 on 23 first-class rail tickets between London and her Manchester constituency since March.

Nothing says you are working class than 1st Class travel seats on a train. Guess she didn’t want to mix with the working people.

Shadow Foreign Secretary Lisa Nandy spent £23,083.44 which she chalked to her expenses, including £8,883.35 on non-office rent and £475,67 in council tax – and £20 on hand-sanitiser gel. The Wigan MP, who has called for the British Army to be replaced with a ‘gender-balanced human security force’, also claimed £2,298.50 in expenses on rail, including £334.50 on railcards.  HOW TIGHT DO YOU HAVE TO BE TO CLAIM FOR £20 FOR HAND GEL.

Lisa Nandy with deep pockets and very short hands.

Shadow Health Secretary Jonathan Ashworth charged taxpayers £23,865.67, including £72.20 on taxis between his London home and Westminster.

Shadow Business Minister Lucy Powell billed British taxpayers £25,206.49 last year, including £1,141.10 on rail trips including £390 for first-class, £5.65 for postage and a £157 TV licence fee – as well as £35 in parking fares.  Are you telling me that she could not fork out £5.65 or a postage and why do they get a money for a TV Licence? Time to get these disgraceful MPs (ALL OF THEM) to stop dipping their hands into our money. After all she gets £320 tax free a day from the Lords or £170 if staying at home. So she gets out of paying taxes whilst dipping into ours.

Shadow Minister for Women and Equalities Gill Furniss spent £19,506.31, including £7,136.72 on non-office rent and £780.78 in council tax.  She also travelled first-class 10 times as Covid-19 sparked government pandemic measures including the shutdown of most of the travel industry. Yep nothing shouts equality like taking 1st class travel and we pay. It seems to this nasty Labour party our money is their money and they can do what they like with it. Can anyone explain what non office rent is??

I don’t know about you but I am sick and tired of these leeches in Parliament and the Lords scamming our money to travel first class, get free TV licences, pay for postage and council tax. It is about time they were given an allowance each month and made to live within their means. After all we do, and at a time that so many people have lost their jobs it is outrageous that they can travel first class and don’t tell me that they cannot book a seat in standard class as anyone can do it, but they like the prestige and the elite way of travelling but as I stated nothing says they are the party of the working class like first class travel and living off our taxes.

It is about time we demanded the closure of this way of living as we know that some MPs employ family and this is just another way for our money to go into their family income. This will never stop until we demand it stops and I for one am sick of seeing so many people struggle whilst these leeches suck dry our taxes.
