I am outraged that yet another Tory MP has taken it upon themselves to come out and show that they are uncaring where children are concerned.
She has hinted that those organisations who are helping out with feeding the children do not approach the Government for money….JESUS JUST HOW HEARTLESS CAN THIS WOMAN BE??
This woman not only gets £82K a year as an MP but she also has another tax payer funded role. District Councillor for North Devon District Council, Brynsworthy Lane, Fremington, EX31 3NS. I receive £319.97 a month in return for 3-4 hrs a week. (Registered 07 January 2020 in Parliament). That is almost another £4k a year.
Her expenses for the first 5 months was over £30,000 so you can double that and rising and these people have the audacity to complain about companies giving food to the poorest!
Sometimes I wish they would just put their brain into gear before their mouths as it looks bad for those of who vote Conservative as it shows that they don’t care, and that is even worse as we know MPs go in to Parliament for what they can get….well the majority, as lets face it how many of them end up with two or more houses care of us, and don’t forget that lovely expense from heaven where they can claim for new kitchen, bedding, the garden…etc…..all thanks to us, and we have no say and that is so annoying….Don’t get me started on the Parliament restaurant where they are subsided. I.e. you and I get to pay for rich people to get fat…..
The MPs were wrong to vote against it and I have said it once and I will say it again, the only sure way to make sure the children get a hot meal everyday is to contact these very same companies who are doing this and paying them directly. We save some of the hospitality industry and make sure the poorest in our society get a hot meal everyday. After all, what is wrong with making sure children get fed!!
I know some people say oh when I was younger we didn’t….blah blah blah….well when my father was young he left school at 14 and went straight into a job, they still had hanging and the police had more powers than they do now…what I am getting at is that times move on and we must change with it and right now we are right in the middle of a pandemic when it is going to be rough on the next generation…..would it really be such a bad thing to help them a little bit more??
I despair sometimes at the people who are elected in to the Palace of Westminster, I really do….What a disappointment.
