Irton Hall, nr Ravensglass Cumbria.

I have just spent a wonderful couple of days at Irton Hall…..It is located in the most beautiful of areas and as soon as hubby and I arrived we felt relaxed. The outside is stunningly gorgeous and it feels and looks like a 5 star hotelWe had an executive king size room at the cost of ¬£140 a night and the room was big, clean, amazingly comfortable bed and a massive bathroom with a jacuzzi bath and showerThe Hall has been visited by Henry V, Oliver Cromwell and dates back to the crusades. It has peacocks, geese and hens wondering around the grounds, and welcomes dogs and it was lovely to see so many dogs…will be taking mine next time. The Hall has self catering holidaylets and the staff were friendly, helpful and spoilt the guests with making sure everything was perfect. The food was unbelievably wonderful and our Chef Jamie made the most amazing foods, and nothing was too much trouble. You could eat in the bar or the restaurant and it was a pleasant evening everytime we went down to eat. The meals are reasonably priced as is the well stocked bar.Breakfast was included and in our rooms was a very large TV, tea and coffee facilities and plenty of them. Complimentary sparkling and still water in the fridges, extra pillows, a

fan and toiletries. The bedrooms were clean, and the whole place was tidy and there were no issues ….I only wish we could have stayed longer. It is great for walkers, dog owners or those who just want to breathe fresh air as it is in a stunning area…but whatever your reason for going, you won’t be disappointed.
