York Train Museum is a great day out for people like me who loves trains.
For starters it is £10 for parking all day and a donation…suggested £5…and then away you go
There are talks on flywheels, trains, royal carriages and help available when questions need answering
There are shelves and shelves of items from time gone-by, videos of how trains were made and all in all a great day out.
They have lots of items on display and you can look into the trains and clamber on them too, and there are a couple of buildings housing them, along with a kid zone, miniature railway and places to eat…along with toilets and shops. I loved it and for the price of £15 a great day out for the family…..
